Our European-trained artisans craft each memorial with the highest level of care, expertise, and attention to detail.
What We Are About
Our owners, Marc and Melanie, have worked in the funeral industry in various capacities for the past 25 years. In addition to running Europa Memorial, Marc also serves as the director of cemeteries for the Eparchy of Edmonton, while Melanie is an associate professor of music at The King’s University.

Owned by Vlad Varbanov, Hawkstone Memorials provides unmatched memorial-making expertise. Vlad is a third-generation memorial maker who learned the craft from his grandfather in Bulgaria. He has spent more than 25 years honing and perfecting his craft and is skilled in every facet of memorial making including design creation, engraving, installation, and restoration.
